Nordic Edge at Smart City Expo in Barcelona
Nordic Edge will be present at Barcelona this week, taking part in this year’s edition of Smart City Expo World Congress.
– We are well under way with developing Nordic Edge Expo 2017, inspired by smart city innovations in the Nordics. This year we had 2100 visitors and 100 exhibitors to our main event, making us the largest ever smart city event in the Nordics. Next year we aim for more than 4000 visitors and 200 exhibitors. You are welcome to visit us at the Innovation Norway stand at SCEWC to discuss smart city business opportunites in the Nordics, and how Nordic Edge Expo can act as a match-making arena for players both from the public and private sector, says Herbjørn Tjeltveit, CEO of Nordic Edge.
Organized by Fira de Barcelona, SCEWC is the world’s leading smart city gathering, focusing on the most important current and future issues of urban growth. At this year’s congress, companies, governments, entrepreneurs and researchers will come together to learn, share and debate the future development of our cities, specifically the issues of:
- Smart Society
- Sustainable City
Nordic Edge Expo 2017 will take place from the 26th to 28th of September 2017 in Stavanger, Norway. The event brings together politicians, technologists, entrepreneurs, capitalists, journalists, professors and students, as well as anyone interested in making better urban solutions for the future. Nordic Edge is a Non-Profit organisation that aims to promote smart technology and is founded by a cooperation of organisations, municipalities and companies in the Stavanger region.
